EnglishPlusU is a school of human tutors. We present teachers, help you choose someone you would actually talk to, and help you book a trial. Lessons are taught by the teacher, not by software.

Teacher profiles, photos, and experience notes are provided by the teachers or compiled from information they gave us. We aim to keep them accurate; tell us if something is wrong.

You may browse the site for personal, non-commercial use. Do not misuse it: no scraping at a scale that harms the service, no attempts to break security, and no posting of unlawful or abusive content through our forms.

Sending the contact form is a request, not a paid booking until we confirm otherwise in writing. A trial is meant to be a real lesson, not a sales call. We may decline an enquiry if we cannot offer a good fit.

Prices, trial fees, and what is included are confirmed before you pay. We do not invent hidden invoices. Where a trial fee applies, it will be stated up front.

Ongoing lessons are agreed between you, the school, and the teacher. Payment may be per lesson, weekly, or monthly, as confirmed in writing. Card payments, when used, are processed by a payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on this site.

Unless we confirm a different rule for your package, you may cancel or reschedule a paid lesson with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may be charged. Unused prepaid lessons are handled as stated when you pay — ask us if that is unclear.

Treat teachers and staff with ordinary respect. Do not record a lesson without the teacher’s agreement. Do not use materials from a lesson as if they were yours to republish. We may stop working with anyone who harasses, discriminates, or repeatedly misses lessons without notice.

The website design, copy, and branding belong to EnglishPlusU or our licensors. Teacher likenesses and bios remain connected to those teachers. You may not copy the site or the profiles for your own directory or competing service.

We try to keep the site available but do not promise uninterrupted access. Teacher availability, languages offered, and prices can change. We will not surprise you with a new fee for a lesson already confirmed.

Language learning depends on the student as much as the teacher. We do not guarantee a particular exam result, visa, job, or university place. To the extent the law allows, EnglishPlusU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for matters outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

These terms are intended to be read under Irish law, reflecting that EnglishPlusU is Irish-led. If a mandatory consumer law in your country gives you stronger rights, those rights still apply.
